How exactly do i hook-up my MIDI keyboard to my Native Instruments MASCHINE?
ive already read the manula and looked up videos and it dosent work. i hook up the out of the keyboard to the in of the maschine and i get nothing. i did the out of the keyboard to the in of the maschine and the out of the maschine to the in of the keyboard and still nothing...anybody know?

You may need to assign the midi controller to the program in the preferences of the program.
Go to your preferences in sonar and look for midi control surfaces, or something like that. There should be some sort of option to have the program 'look' for a controller. Then you just press something on the controller, and the program should start to read it. Or maybe there is a drop-down menu with different choice, like 'midi keyboard' 'midi keyboard with controls' and such. Maybe you need to go from the machine to the keyboard tho the computer. Just keep trying, man, you'll get it. Check for downloads at the sites associated with your programs and hardware to see if there are drivers that you need. Good luck.
